The advantages of tinting house or conservatory windows?

Many of our customers have benefited from having solar control window film applied onto the windows in their home. Our high performance window films can cut the excess heat by 80%.
These films are especially useful if you have a conservatory where the heat build up can be unbearable. With solar control film applied, the temperature will be reduced. It will not make your conservatory cold, it will bring the temperature down to a more comfortable level so that you can use the room at times when previously you could not.
Most people want a bright, sunny home. However, too often, when the sun shines, summer or winter, difficulties are encountered. Direct sunlight coming through your windows can be dazzling, causing strain on the eyes. Obviously, closing blinds and curtains is an option, but these shut out the day light and you can't see out.
Many customers have benefited from the installation of solar control window film, which can reduce glare by up to 80%, depending on the grade. Even with window film applied, the natural light will pass through and you will be able to see out.
Do you want to stop prying eyes and restrict vision into your home?
If people do not have clear vision into your home, you are less likely to be a target for burglars. They may not break in if they cannot see what is on offer.
We don’t like to think we can be watched in our own homes but we need windows to provide light. Whether you want to stop people looking into your kitchen, living room or bathroom, we have the solution.
Window film can either be used to give one-way daytime privacy using a reflective film or full time privacy using an opaque frosted film. Both options allow natural light to pass through.
Many of our customers want maximum protection for themselves and their property. They recognise the window areas as being particularly vulnerable to attack and potential break-ins. In nearly half of break-ins, access is gained through glass.
Installing clear security film can help reduce the level of vulnerability whilst retaining the benefits of the window area, avoiding the need for unsightly bars, boarding or other security measures. The film will hold the glass in place if broken. This reduces the danger from attack and will slow down an intruder. The actual cost of a break-in can be up to 10 times the cost of the actual equipment stolen.
Glass is extremely fragile and, if it is not toughened or laminated, it is extremely dangerous. If you fall against glass or walk into it, it may break. The resulting glass shards will cause injury and possibly death.
If your glass does not have a British Standard Kite Mark in the corner, it is not safe. We can make that glass safe by installing clear safety window film to the glass.
Installing safety window film is more cost effective and less disruptive than a replacement glass service.
Safety film is clear, so once applied it will not alter the appearance of the glass.
Ultraviolet Rays are a major cause of fading in homes. The rays can stream in through the glass and have a deteriorating effect on furniture/carpets/paintings.
However, UV rays are not the only cause of fading. Poor ventilation, heat, artificial lightly and the quality of the dye in the materials are others. It's hard to eliminate all of these factors but with UV film applied, which cuts 99% of UV rays, you can significantly reduce the problem.
The degree of overall protection is dependent on the type of film installed. We will recommend the best type for your situation.
